to anyone who's a nursing major who didn't apply when you were in h.s, they i wouldn't reccommend coming here unless you have a 4.0 and at least 350 hours of community service. they barely take anyone in the nursing program. even a few 4.0's got turned down. i would suggest looking into other schools. our nursing program is rated #99, they're not even that great and the Ruby Hospital (WVU's hospital) has a lot of horrible nurses who've graduated from WVU…it just says a lot about the program here. not saying they're not smart but they need to think out side of the box and diagnosis people better. i got a fucking pap smear and i'm a virgin, you're not supposed to do that..i should've gotten a sonogram instead because i'm a fucking virgin. anyway. social life - if you're white: you may have a lot of fun here. i would suggest looking into frats and soros here. they dont dominate the school but it is pretty big here. greekrank.com actually as some pretty accruate ranks for the frats and the soro's here. the top soro's here are : dg, alpha phi, kkg, maybe axd. anyway, if you love to drink everyweekend and smoke or do any type of drug you'll like it. theres only two clubs for 18-20 year olds Lux (music is horrible but it's kind of "big") and Cellar (sometimes has good music, best for thirsty thrusdays), Bent (21+ club) sometimes has 18 nights on fridays/satursday but they usually have 18 year old nights on Weds. The main point here is, you do the same shit eveery weekend.. being in a frat / soro will def make your time here more fun because you'll be doing sometimes different than other students.

if you're black: well, there's not much going for ya here..sadly. theres no club that plays hip hop but recovery, and no one goes there bcause it gets shuts down eveery weekend ! the fire marshalls always bust it down for no reason. the black soro's and frats here are very smalll 4-10 members (varies) and usually the alphas have events for the black people here. most of them time they're pretty cool and it's nice to go to something different. clubs are cheap, $5 to get in, you may notice that all the football players cut the line because they can..i guess. .25c beers at cellar on thrusdays btw. frats through parties…mainly on frat row like PIKE, TKE, KA…they usually through the most. they got shut down quick though. most frat guys and reg guys here wanna fuck so be careful. fall fest is epic the first 2-3 weeks here are awesome then it gets dry academics - depends on your major. most BA majors will do fine here but BS majors you may want to look somewhere else for a better education and overall learning experiance…esp biologly majors… teachers here can suck or be rude..some are nice though and some idk what theyre talking about

Mountain lair needs to change up their foods theyre not bad but they could use a chipolte.. anyway i'd rate this school a 6.5/10. it has it's ups and downs..
