I absolutely love BU! My time here has been nothing but enjoyable and worthwhile. It is an incredibly diverse place to be and I have met the most amazing people not just across the country, but from around the world. I have had great professors who really care about their students and success. Though BU is a big school, you can make it feel really small if you get involved.

Boston is a beautiful and historical city with so much to do. The nightlife is 21+ friendly only and the T (train) shuts down early, which is unfortunate, but next year the T will run until 3am on the weekends so there's a plus. If you want to party, go to Allston or make friends with upperclassman that live in apartments. Going out will get expensive, however, so beware.

Every college at BU offers something unique, and with 250+ majors, you can study nearly anything. Also SMG is ranked 10th in the nation for business schools. Also, I personally am not in CGS, but I have a few friends that are, and they love the program. So take negativity with a grain of salt (that goes for all the other negative comments on here). If you come to BU undecided, you will end up finding your passion. And BU may be tough academically (grade deflation) but FYI, employers know how hard BU is (#1 hardest grading school in the COUNTRY), so don't feel like the world is ending if a grade isn't what you'd like it to be!

If you love the city, want to become independent, want diversity, a huge student body and campus, and a degree that will be worth major $$$ in the future, BU just might be for you. If you don't want to work hard and establish yourself, then maybe look elsewhere. Make the most out of your education and the resources at your fingertips! You MUST have an open mind if you go to BU, and if you do, you won't regret it!
