A typical high-end continuation high school, UCSD has a conservative student body where many come only for academics, and to get a degree with the UCSD name stamp.

There's not much to do on campus because there is no real athletics, school spirit, or a sense of togetherness. It is, however, excellent for the following types

The very religious. There is little vice or temptation at this school.

The socially conservative.

Married couples or those in strong relationships.

Older students.

The socially withdrawn. Believe me, if you are incorrigably introverted (not a bad thing), coming here will suit you well.

Those who prefer a no-frills education.

You want to go to a party? Make friends with SDSU students and go to their parties. You are completely right about how stuffy UCSD is, so if you go there, having a car and doing stuff in San Diego becomes an imperative.

I would never understand how students compalined about campus life in San Diego. Great conetentment life and academic growth while attending UCSD. Students would be smart to give the campus and enrollment a visit and consieration.Ilove the place and their students.
