I was just accepted to UT Austin for undergraduate but not to Chem. Eng to which I applied. Has anyone done their 24 credit route and successfully been able to transfer into Engineering? it seems pretty iffy and I have scholarship offers to purdue, A&M and Illinois. |

Dr. Rakesh B Pherwani of Spring, Texas attended the University of Texas for undergraduate coursework. More information, if desired, can be found on his website www.rakesh-pherwani.abic-medical.com (The University of Texas is a school of opportunity. The climate and geography are very nice. Therefore, there are many resources both in the scholastic and extracurricular departments. I have seen classmates fall into traps of losing the balance between coursework and outside interests. Be sure to follow the path that I did and be more dilligent with coursework. Find extracurricular activities that help augment your coursework rather than falling prey to the offender against high grades ( ). The hard work will pay off in the long run and you will actually enjoy your time in Austin and beyond much more.
