Western Michigan University

I decided to go to Western Michigan University because it was a decent ways away from home but close enough to where i could still visit friends at other schools. They also are known for their health program which is what i am going into. But i honestly hated my time at Western. I stayed with most other freshmen in the valleys, i thought i would have fun there, but i was wrong. If you enjoy partying from Thursday night to Sunday night then this is the place for you. There is always a party somewhere. Partying was fun for a while, but if you're like me and don't enjoy getting hammered and standing at a frat party where the shitty dubstep is so loud you can't talk to anyone, then you will run out of things to do real fast. I tried to find other things to do, but found myself pretty bored most of the time, there are not to many things to do outdoors around kzoo. Another thing i didn't like was the people. most of the people i met were all the same douche bag wanna be gangster "from Detroit" which really means they are from the many suburbs half hour out of the city.Most are just bad people, don't leave your laundry in the dryers unattended because I've heard stories, and know people personally who have pissed on peoples clothes. The only cool people i met were in the student ghetto. There you can meet some really interesting people and have some good times. overall the school is super easy, just study a little and show up to class and you will be golden. I had some good professors but i also had some crappy ones, just the way it goes. I've since switched schools and i am much happier, its possible to have a good time at western, but it just wasn't for me.
