What can i say about Montclair State University. Im gonna say truth and give everyone the best piece of advice as i can about this school.

1. The students - laughable and a joke. Only care about their academics and nothing else and a lot complain about being there. There all selfish, high schoolish, misunderstood, they try to fit in as much as possible and have no personality whatsoever. To sum it up - boring and depressing. (my personal experience)

2. The girls - Remember that old saying

looks can be deceiving

well that saying is true at this school. The girls are pretty for the most part but there so high schoolish its not even funny, weird, misunderstood, have no personality, don't like to party and just plain boring so if i were you don't waste your time. (my personal experience)

3. The professors - are really easy i think, some are good but it varies between majors but a lot of them don't realize that this is a commuter school but their helpful and lenient for the most part. ( my personal experience)

4. Dorming - not so much fun or anything exciting goes on, this is not a party school so don't expect much from frats or sororities cause its fake wannabes not partying or doing anything on campus except hanging out together outside of campus. (my personal experience)

5. Commuting - if you commute really and i mean really far lets say an hour away or 2 hours away then save your money and go somewhere else. The commute is not worth your time and money at all when you can be having more fun somewhere else dorming. Professors there even told me the same thing so don't make the same mistake i did. (my personal experience)

5. Campus Life - What campus life? There is none. Everywhere i walk around on campus and the campus from my perspective is small, people are either just going to their classes, taking the train home, driving back home, studying in the library and sleeping in the commuters lounge. (my personal experience)

6. The campus - its not bad looking and there are some campus events in the spring time, very peaceful and relaxed after a long day but other then that its just for show. The whole tour is a like a gig or a commercial so don't be fooled. (my personal experience)

7. Montclair State University - To say the least this school is very very surprising. I was tricked in every way to going here expecting the best years of my life when i got the opposite. I mean this school is not a bad academic wise but college experience wise no. I haven't had one bit of fun since i've been here and I've lost every respect for my college life because of commuting and coming home every single day not having a social life or one bit of fun. I regret everything and i wish i could i go back to high school and do it over again and take the SAT's and go away to school but thats over. So, everyone reading this don't make the same mistake i did, and go to a better school but know all the details before making your final decision because now i want to transfer and go some to a better school. Remember, your young so you have your life don't make the wrong decisions or be forced into it like i did because now im facing depression all from commuting and going there so go and have a real college experience and make it spectacular and worth every penny. Thats my advice to you and i hope it helps. Make the right decision and god bless.
