I could not have been happier with my experience at UCSB. In my opinion, it is the perfect college, and I would highly recommend it. Students at UCSB are truly smart, yet it is not a competitive environment. There is so much to do, and the beautiful location offers so much to keep students active with hiking, surfing, running, biking, and so much more. There is a huge party scene which is great for socialization and fun, but if parties aren't your thing, there are tons of people who choose to get together and have fun without drinking in IV. People are friendly, the location cannot be beat, there is always something to do, and I graduated with a great education, and a wonderful college experience.
