Ah… Western… It has its up's and down's. I am currently a 3rd year student at WMU. I am pretty indifferent about the university. I really love the student body, its easy to meet new friends but most of the hot girls are pretty stand offish.(probs cause most guys creep hard here) There are so many clubs and organizations you can join to help you meet new people. Lets get real though, Western is a pretty big party school! I mean every university has parties but Western kills it! Im just saying if you go here you should get used to waking up and wondering what the hell happened last night… The dorms here kind of suck, but dorms are supposed to suck. The food is pretty bad, but they just built a new caf with some decent food. My least favorite part of Western are the professors. They hire way too many grad students to teach classes that grad students should never teach! For all my years here i just feel that the professors dont care about the students education or academic standing. Just be very careful when choosing your schedule (ask other students for recommended teachers or use ratemyprofessor.com, you don't want to get stuck with some foreign jerk who speaks broken english). Just study hard and go to your classes and you will be fine. Some classes are really hard and some are cake… just like every other university.

Please disregard almost all of these negative reviews. Western is nothing like these students say it is. It is what you make it! I do wish i would have went to a higher quality university like MSU or U of M because they have better academics… But western parties are too fun to pass up! Go Broncos
