Actually, ASU has enough of an issue with their graduation rates (29% at four years, and a whopping 59% at the six years) that even the local news finally reported on their scandalous operation although they somewhat incorrectly attributed it to overly enthusiastic admissions practices (see ). This comes only a few years after they were outed by their own faculty for having problems with cheating. The reality is that ASU is one big bureaucratic cluster#$*& and a cynically- operated monopolistic scam that is ill-suited for educational purposes. |
Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time)
I go to ASU and major in Biology and I love it here. The campus is beautiful and well maintained. The weather is perfect year round barring the rare sandstorm. My courses have really opened my mind and have challenged me to think. The professors and instructors are kind and always willing to help as long as you approach them and ask. There are tons of extra curricular activities and its really easy to get involved and to make new friends. There is a party scene but don't let it fool you, those kids are obviously here for that and don't take their studies seriously. Stay away from it and you should do great!
