I was a transfer student, and I decided to go to Quinnipiac because it seemed like a great school. I was really looking forward to starting there, the campus is beautiful, the academics seemed great, and overall it seemed like a great place to be. However, I feel as if going to Quinnipiac was the worst mistake I have made. The students there are extrememly unfriendly and very snobby. If you are not rich and you don't feel like being mean to people just for fun, then I advise you not to go here because you won't fit in at all. A lot of the faculty is very condescending, and do not treat you with respect. Although, I have had some very nice professors, most of them were terrible. Quinnipiac has a beautiful campus, but do not be fooled by its beauty and how they will play up what they have to prospective students. Overall, the campus and the resources are not good compared to the amount of students on campus. You can never find a place in the library to use a computer, study, or just sit and read a book. Also, the cafeteria is way too crowded. Just so you can get a general idea of the student life and atmosphere of Quinnipiac, the student's favorite motto and saying on campus is: "You can't spell liquor without QU." I completely hated my experience at Quinnipiac, and I can't wait to transfer to another school. Oh, and I am also a commuter at Quinnipiac and there is NEVER parking for the commuter students. QU really is not considerate of commuter students, and the commuter parking lot is mostly used for students who keep a car on campus. This means that commuter students have to park all the way in the back of the Hoagan Rd entrance. This also means that you will have to take a shuttle bus just to get to campus. So basically, only go to Quinnipiac if you are stuck up, don't really care about getting a good education, and don't care about having respect for yourself and the people around you. Quinnipiac definitely isn't worth all the money.
