Here's what you need to know about Fordham:Academics - The work is somewhat challenging, but as long as you're decently smart you'll get by without problems. The biggest problem is the core, which is huge. Do not underestimate this and think The core means you WILL be taking classes both freshmen and sophomore year that will make you want to die. The language requirement is brutal. However, the teachers here are pretty good and the classes can be interesting. It all depends on what and who you take.Food - Literally awful. Don't let anyone tell you differently. The food in the surrounding area (Arthur Ave) is awesome, but that can get expensive fast. You can and probably will survive here on cafe breakfasts (not so bad), sushi for lunch, and cereal for dinner. Get a meal plan with a lot of dining dollars, you'll want them.Dorms - Varies a lot by what dorm you're in, but most are pretty decent. Better than many colleges I saw.Social Scene - There are four bars that Fordham students go to. Kids usually pregame in their rooms and then go out, you don't need a fake. People go out on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Most people here drink (pretty heavily) but you can probably have fun here if you dont by going out to the city more often. There are also house parties. Overall - It's what you make of it.
