I am an undeclared sophomore and have never had such anger issues as I have had since I starting going here. While taking my placement tests, I realized that the people in charge hardly speak English and barely know what they are doing. My biggest problem with the school is that you are pretty much on your own for any problem that arises. If you contact someone, they will tell you that you need to go through at least five different departments to get what you need. Housing is a joke, the food is served by ex convicts, and the campus is set up so that no one can get out. They stopped shuttles to local stores so if you are like me and live on campus with no car (I live 4 hours away), then you are literally stuck here. I am transferring and wish I would have done it sooner to save my education. I have not learned anything valuable from my professors and I feel extremely unprepared for work outside of school. People who attend this college are reliving their high school years. In my freshman building, Bohn, out of 900 students living there, 700 of them were on academic probation, while only 90 of them were on the Dean's List (I was one of the 90). Basically, this school is a waste of time and money because no one knows what they are doing and nothing is ran right here. Please rethink your college choice if Montclair is on your list.
