People who say there is no social life, are obviously not looking in the right places. There are multiple parties downtown every weekend, which the bus takes you to directly and quickly. Most of the time the bus is a party. Everyone is really friendly and will let you tag along to their parties if you are friendly and generally FUN to be around. Academics are pretty good if you let them be. Tons of resources and professors (that ive had) never treat you in a condescending way.good professors help with learning material , but ultimately it depends on you to learn it.
