I came to WMU in the fall of 2010. I went in with an open mind, ready for the next chapter in my life. When i got here, the move in was horrible. There was maybe ten "bronco buddies" there to help you move in, anything else you were on your own. Western's "welcome week" that they have is the saddest attempt in welcoming you I have ever seen. All welcome week consists of is a reason to have a million parties every night. Classes were okay, I wouldn't say they were anything extraordinary. I took the same exact classes in high school. The students here are here for one reason, and that is to party. If you are not a partier, DO NOT come here. The valley's are where all the freshman live, and Western put them the furthest away they possibly could, and don't ever expect to get any sleep, because every night there are people drunk and screaming. I would not recommend Western to any of my friends, or anyone who honestly cares about their education.
