If you are a very conservative "Christian" (a term that is applied too liberally), and are unable to afford another christian institution (which is fairly common), than it's a great place to be! The rules and regulations are excessive to the point of blasphemy in my opinion (basically calling the Holy Spirit incompetent when it comes to the conviction between right and wrong, so they help him out by adding hundreds of Pharisaical, judgmental rules which the administration will claim are biblically based, although this is not true). God help you if you break the rules. If you are sufficiently wicked, you will not only get kicked out of school (which happens to roughly 15-25% of the student body every semester), but you will be blacklisted (not allowed to come back on campus even just to visit friends), and if you should still be so inclined as to go back and try again, hoping to make amends, any attempt on your part to do so will be responded to with increasingly an unkind, hostile, and certainly unchristian attitude. The pride of the decision making members of the administration (the top three of whom are all exceedingly fat, and yet despite their obvious lack of self control have the gall to act as if their better than you), makes any appeal, even ones using scriptural, logical, humble arguments, superfluous. Their holier-than-thou attitude makes what could otherwise be a God-honoring, wonderful institution to learn and mature in, an oppressive atmosphere that students can't wait to be done with. If you should acquire employment on campus, you will make some of the best friends you will ever have with your fellow students. The pay doesn't even cover your school bills, but it does help. Depending on your field, many of the professors are people that you'll not only like, but genuinely learn from. However, the higher up the 'chain of command' you go, the more impersonal it gets, and the more pompous and indignant they become.

So, in conclusion, friends and your own creativity in social activities can make it worth the ridiculous rules and arrogant condescension of the administration. Maybe. It all depends on you, really. I wouldn't advise it for most people, although I would go back if I had the chance
