Major: Economics (This Major's Salary over time)
I will be graduating this Sunday with a BS in Economics from Syracuse. During my four years at this school I got my ass kicked up and down intellectually. But they beaten that I got was rewarding because I have grown intellectually, mentally and socially. Regardless of how people outside of the University view this school, it still without a question maintains an excellent academic reputation. The professors may come off as intimidating and extremely challenging but are genuinely interested in the success of the students and if you put in the time and effort and see them, they will be stand by your side to make sure you understand class metrial.Overall, I believe there are three types of people who I believe will do extremely well at Syracuse1) Those who take full advantage of the resources that are available. (i.e Career centers, research projects, internships etc.)2)Those who are always curious and are always looking for a chlallenge will do well here. Complacecny won't get you anywhere at this school. 3) Independent and thick-skinned. Syracuse University can really break you down intellectually but builds you back up into a well-rounded individual.
