Alfred University

I have been at Alfred State College for 4 years now and will graduate on time with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology. Coming from a fairly large city my first impression was that the town of Alfred and Alfred State College was small. Although after spending my first semester here I found that to be to my advantage. My class sizes were small and never overwhelming in size. All of my teachers know my name and are always willing to help me understand class material outside of class. As far as the town of Alfred its size lets you get around easily by walking. You can walk right into town and have a coffee with a group of friends or even get some thing to eat. Alfred is a place where I was able to focus and get my work done and its friendly atmosphere has let me meet friends that I will have for a lifetime.
