Bob Jones University is a wonderful place to go and receive a great education. I loved my professors. Most of them were selfless people that really cared for their students. Of course no one is going to like everyone everywhere. If you think that, then wake up! I really value the education I received there. Expect hard work, but I am thankful for the work I had to do because it definitely prepared me for my life.

It is also a wonderful place to make life-long friends. Dorm life is ok. I lived in the dorms just my freshman year and I enjoyed certain aspects of it, but I am not going to lie. There are a lot of rules. But if you can be super disciplined for 4 years, go there! If you know you don't want to have a lot of rules, do not go there! I will admit I did a lot of sneaking around my 4 years there and I regret it now. I signed an agreement when I went there that I understood the rules and that I would follow them. I am not saying that everyone needs to live and breathe the rules, however, I know I could have done a much better job of trying to follow them. So if you aren't planning on following them, don't go there. They don't need you.

So in conclusion, it is a great school that is very upfront with you. Their expectations are very clear and spelled out for you. The school really does an excellent job of meeting it's mission.
