For the most part, I like everything about this school aside from the academic experience. I've met a lot of great people here and there are enough fun activities to do when there is time for them…on the other hand, the "school" part of BC can really bring down the quality of life here. Classwork is rarely (if ever) interesting or motivating, and I find myself doing work because I have to rather than because I want to—and I'm a person who likes learning! I find that teachers here are more concerned with making sure students can spit back the information they are taught rather than getting them to do any real experiential or self-motivated learning. Also, "the core" (the 15 or so required classes for every Arts & Sciences student) is miserable. Superficial learning, lots of busy work, large classes, and not much else. I will be very happy to get out of here when I graduate.
