This school was for me personally, a last resort. After much consideration, I felt that Fairfield would be the most fun and the best spot for me to make good, quality friends that would last me a lifetime. I had the most positive of attitude and a lot of hope that college would be absolutely amazing in all facets. In addition, i never thought i would be one of the people who write a blog on anything, let alone the college they attended.

Yes, Fairfield U has a good academic rep, but when you think about it in the long run… if your parents have to pay over $200,000 in total on college education, that's a waste of money on skills you could learn that are more adaptable to life in the long run. Bascially, it's over-priced. You can just as good of an education at other colleges that aren't so expensive by simply applying yourself and holding a steady desire achieve.

The area of CT is dull and boring. It is by no means a college campus; how many colleges do you know that have dad's walking their kids in stoller's around the same path you use to walk to your 5:00 pm Stat class? Not many.

Yes, you can find your niche and meet a group of people who are rad, but the MAJORITY of the school is extremely homogenous. I've never seen so many girls put effort into the way they look to go sit for 50 minutes in a class. You're there to learn, it's not a fashion show.

Overall, it's not what i expected out of college. Yeah, a lot of the things listed seem pretty petty and stupid. And i don't mean to be completely negative. Maybe it's just not the right fit for some people, but Fairfield U is not what i think of when i think of college.
