Major: Economics (This Major's Salary over time)
I'm a graduating senior from Los Angeles, and I'm an Economics major. A few thoughts:

1) When I first went to UCSD, it was an enormous culture shock. For my LAUSD brethren, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. I don't think I've ever seen that many Whites and Asians in my life… and I'm Asian. I'll be honest; the culture that goes along with it took some getting used to. If your high school was nice, totally disregard this statement.

2) Red lights. Everywhere in San Diego. Constantly. Just had to toss that in there.

3) San Diego can be a lot of fun. You just have to know what to do… and be 21.

As for the "Triton Eye", this aspect is definitely one of those "it is what you make of it" type deals. Yeah sure, there are a lot of unattractive women… and hey, I'll be fair… there are a lot of unattractive dudes as well. But there are definitely a lot of very attractive women as well. I feel, if you don't have the balls to risk on an approach, I wouldn't complain.

Socially dead? Well, that's a tough one. It depends on who you are. If you're kinda introverted, that's perfectly fine. I guarantee you can find your niche. If you're kinda extroverted, I also guarantee you can find your niche. If you truly like meeting new people, and it's not just a three-letter phrase on your Facebook profile, NOW, it gets difficult. As one of those people who converse with anyone (yes, anyone), anywhere (yes, anywhere), and anytime (yes, anytime), I can safely there are A LOT of people who will waste your time. Boring, lame, self-absorbed, scared, narrow-minded. Don't let it stop you though… remember, you like meeting new people, heh.

I'm not like most people. Trust me. When I clicked "Super Brilliant", I'm not just pulling it outta my ass. I've been tested, I've been certified… the whole nine yards. Take what I said with a huge grain of salt.
