OK people, READ THE OTHER COMMENTS POSTED HERE. Almost uniformly, they paint a picture of the GW students as: arrogant, rude, elitist, condescending, unfriendly, pretentious, and even downright heartless. If you are smart, you will spend your hard-earned money (or your parents') somewhere else. GW costs a fortune, and I made the unlucky choice of transferring to this school which I, and apparently everyone else on this site, absolutely hated. Pretty much everyone on campus is very wealthy, from the same region/suburbs, and has the same sense of entitlement and irresponsibility. The students walk all over anyone who does not fit the mold of a rich, east-coast son or daughter of privilege. Guys won't date you unless it's obvious you have money. Girls won't befriend you unless you wear the same designer crap they're wearing. The only way I survived was by clinging to a few friends on scholarships, who were the only nice, humble people among thousands. It's very sad that you pay so much money to be miserable, but it's a fact. I got so many dirty looks/bad attitudes on this campus that I ended up moving far off-campus. NEVER go anywhere without the right outfit/tan/designer purse. As for the quality of the education, faculty are as arrogant as the students, and the students care more about their appearance and living their lavish, privileged lifestyles than they care about their education.Enough said.
