First of if your deciding to come to binghamton university think twice. I regreat ever picking this school. I cant beleive theres a location liek this in NY. Overal the campus life is boring assss helll!!!! IT's very repetative. it's either you go clubing, drinking, playing video or studying. The buses do not run on time what so ever. If you goin off campus, the buses come every hour. So if u missed it your fucked up!!

The students here are not friendly and very shallow. They would pass by you and even though they met you the other day, would not even say hi. There is racial tension and the dorms are segregated. Racial tension in the school and outside of the school. Binghamton was the KKK head quaters in the past. It hard to make friends here onless your lucky. Plus some of the students here are werid as ever… i met one that kept lookin into the sky for some reason. It's either that or their in cliqs. You'll end up feelin like your in h.s. here

Academically speaking, if your a science major be prepare because it's tough. i took chemistry n i will never forget lon capa. you do a prelab, post lab and hw that's like 50 questions, on line. then had write a pre lab and post lab. THe TAs cant teach or speak well. The calc teacher is horrible and teaches half way. They start the problem n expect yout o finish the calculations.

Overall the social life sucks here. i spent days bored out of my mind and it's only been a semester. What really makes this the final straw is the dorming. Hillside the worst community ever. All you will here are the crows and your refrigrater. The community is dead as hell, and it's the last place your put if theres no space. Also it's the most furthest from campus. Plus school food her sucks, ppl would rather stop eatin than eat the food here.It was a huge mistake transfering here, and im transfer out As soon as possible. Im goin insane here and counting down the day for the semester to end and transfer out of here pronto. If you want a good college experience with good academics and a social life dont COME TO BINGHAMTON!!!you'll be depressed with the gloomy/rainy/cold weather with little heat in dorm/apartments (aka hillside) and go insane!!

THe tution is cheap but without quality. It's not worth spending money on education that cheap without quality. you have been warned!!!!!
