Major: English (This Major's Salary over time)
I am in my second year at hofstra, and after evaluating my experience last year one word comes to mind…depression. It's exactly like every other negative comment on here, the girls and guys are fake guidos who only wanna get fucked up and waste their parents money, and believe me none of them will be paying their college fees when they graduate. Social life sucks, not having a car is the worst, and the classes aren't very challenging. No manhattan isn't that far away but getting there is a hassle. the surrounding area sucks, the bars suck, and greek life is the equivolent of walking around with a sticker on your head that says i'm a dumb, italian, and rich. And i'm not being racist don't get me wrong Italian people are cool who respect the economic value of a dollar and the cost of a hard earned education, but italian people from long island are ignorant close minded assholes who care about their tan,alcohol and muscles…you couldn't pay me to come here if i had a chance to do it all over…two semesters from now BC here i come!!
