I'm going to be a sophomore at MICA this Fall. So far, so great! There are so many things I love about MICA: the variety of classes, the student work, the location near the cities biggest attractions and in the heart of the arts district, the architecture and history of the school buildings and neighborhood, and the facilities. The neighborhood can be a little iffy at night but it isn't really bad. Don't let people here scare you! You just have to be careful and aware of your surroundings, like in any city. The only downside at MICA is that I don't have as many friends or as rich of a social life as I'd like. I have a pretty solid group of people I hang out with but I only have one friend who I really connect with, so far, and she drives me crazy half the time. There's lots of events and things to do at school and in the area but I'm so busy with my schoolwork that I don't get to take advantage of them as much as I'd like. Like I said, though, I'm only a sophomore, so I'm thinking these things will get better as time goes on. Other than that I LOVE MICA and hope you will, too!
