Among the terms used to describe BC such as "Jesuit Ivy", "Oxford in America", "Princeton on Weekdays and Notre Dame on Saturdays", "Over-sized Prep School" and "J.Crew with a hangover", these are all objectively true. BC is not a very big School compared with a Michigan but it is a very accessible School that is excellent in almost all categories of what constitutes the perfect American Collegiate Experience. Unlike other Elite Schools, BC's Faculty are very accessible for questions, comments or guidance. Your opinion is often debated on very friendly terms with highly-distinguised Scholars without the usual air of condescension. You would be impressed with how much the Professors really care about the BC Community. If you are serious about applying to BC, please note that along with very high grades, near-perfect SAT scores, you will need a long list of extracurricular activities in athletics, community service, music, student clubs and honors. Think I'm kidding? Last year, over 30,000 HS Students competed for 2,000 Freshmen Seats. BC isn't for everyone and I think I prefer it that way.
