This is a "teenagers' school". Everything there is geared towards the "18-21" crowd. If you are an adult student (25+) you will feel really out of place, socially and academically and because these teenagers not the "brightest bulbs", the academic challenge is mediocre, at best. Administration is very closed-minded. They will force you to take classes that are good for teenagers but absolutely absurd and useless for an adult student with no other option other than to go to class and waste your time and money. Clear example: a ridiculous *one credit* Phys Ed general study requirement where you have to pay for "the pleasure" of playing bowling/ballroom dance/fence/lift weights once a week with a bunch of teenagers They will not consider any exercise or physical activity outside Montclair as a valid alternative. So even if you are an adult that, let's say, goes to the gym everyday, if you want to graduate from Montclair, you still have to go bowling with teenagers. In summary, if you are an adult student, go somewhere else, unless you want to be treated as a teenager.
