I agree that out of state junior colleges are better than SDSU. It seems like the few good students like you are just here for the convenience or because they didn't know how bad this school and its teachers are. |
I wish I could go to UCSD but because of circumstances, I can't. I envy those who go to UCSD because they are getting an outstanding education with better teachers. |
Major: English (This Major's Salary over time)
This school is all about athletics and is the baseline of Cal state schools in my opinion. You are only a number working the system here. If you are not someone who is into basic memorization and working the system for the sake of getting a degree (as most students at SDSU seem to be) and more interested in learning, than don't bother with this place. I came from one of the top ten community colleges in the US within the SUNY system in western NY with an A.S.and as on honors student and this school doesn't even come close to the quality of education I received there. In fact, due to my inability to "dumb down" my work I have been penalized in some classes! I am about to withdraw totally from the college after having experienced once semester there and leave my husband who is attending UCSD (which will not except out of state transfers, or else I would be there) to pursue my degree back in NY where I am treated like a scholar and not a number waiting for a piece of paper.
