I absolutely loved my time at UNCW and what it has done for my career. I knew I wanted to be a writer and so double-majored in English and Creative Writing, double-minored in Journalism and Statistics and obtained a Certificate in Professional Writing.

With my degree, I got a job as a reporter for XK news in San Diego, covering the local soccer scene. Also, I run a Chargers web site (SDBoltReport.com) and have gotten many great experiences as a result (media credentials, locker room access and a trip to the Senior Bowl, paid for by Fox Sports).

I love my work, although I miss my time at UNCW. The campus is gorgeous, the teachers are incredible and the experience was the best of my life. The student population is outgoing and chill and I highly recommend becoming a part of it.
