Major: Chemistry (This Major's Salary over time)
I'm a senior biochemistry major, and Virginia Tech is a great place to get an education. There are always a few professors that are arrogant/unhelpful, but overall my experience with them has been very positive. Most seem to genuinely want to help their students. Undergraduate research is very easy to get involved with, and it provides great experience. There are also plenty of organizations to join; you just have to spend a little time finding them. Blacksburg can seem boring at times, but if you put in a little effort, you'll find plenty to do.
