THE FITNY is not your average college, it is in the middle of one of the biggest cities in the world. Go and enjoy everything the city has to offer and don't worry about trying to drink and hang out. It exists at FIT but the things that you could be doing instead are far more exciting in NYC.Also don't make friends in your major, make contacts. Friends will steal your ideas but contacts may help get you a job someday.
