Nothing but positive feelings about my education and experience at Western. I'd have to say for me I didn't realize the value of some of the things I gained unitl a few years later. I wasted a lot of time just getting by.

My collegiate career was probably more lengthy then most (7years) but am certainly glad I didn't rush through. Partially due to slacking off but mostly due to money.

Much of my time in my last 3 years was much more beneficial. Not because I made any more effort or was even a better student, but once I had a job in the field, some of the generic classroom bull was more relatable.

Work combined with work experience while in school helped prepare me for my career. Don't be afraid to bring up things being taught that contradict reality in your experience. Most professors do not mind and even enjoy these types of convresations as long as your not being too confrontational.
