I'm quite disenheartened by all of these negative comments about SU. I've only spent 1 semester there so far, and I've had the time of my life. With the high caliber of Newhouse's reputation, great new friends and fabulous dorm life, I would most definitely choose Syracuse again. I really cant see where all of these other negative reviewers have found these snobby kids, but I myself have only seen a few, if any. My circle of friends are the most caring and down-to-earth people I've ever met in my entire life, as I come from a pretty upper class snobby area, which was quite a refreshing change. I really have enjoyed my academic and social experience at Syracuse, and all I have to say is that college is what you make of it. If people had negative preconceived notions about Syracuse or any other university before deciding to attend, they will continue to hold onto it and not bother to get out of their comfort zone, which is disappointing. I hate to share this beautiful campus with cynical haters who dont appreciate Syracuse and all that it has to offer. To sum up, great campus, great academics, great people and all in all, a fantastic college experience!!
