Major: Undecided (This Major's Salary over time)
I came from a very competitive high school, and it is nice to find a college where collaboration is more important than competition. I have made great friends (I recommend living on Newton campus as a freshman—it's awesome!) and all my professors have approachable and helpful. I have emailed my professors with questions about papers and tests, and have received incredibly prompt and helpful responses. All my professors know me (and I have some large classes). Freshman advising is a little weak—as an "undeclared" I was basically on my own to find open classes, as well as classes to fulfill BC's distribution requirements, but the A&S College is pretty big, so there are lots of interesting choices. Boston is incredible! The transit system makes it so easy to get around, and is safe and accessible. I have met so many great people, so there is no excuse for someone coming to this city, to not take advantage of all it has to offer.69
