Major: Education (This Major's Salary over time)
I am currently a junior at ISU, majoring in elementary education. I have found ISU to be an excellent university. I have visited many other state universities in Illinois and ISU ranks at the top. Not only are the majority of the students friendly and down to earth, but the campus is beautiful, almost all of the classes are conveniently located on the quad, there are many excellent teachers who really want to get to know their students and are always available for help, and it is within miles of a million chain restaurants, a shopping mall, and all the stores you could ever need. I would recommend ISU to any high schooler thinking about a state university. It has a great education and nursing department and a beautiful business building that is brand new. Also, the tuition is reasonable and not overly expensive.
