I Absolutely LOVE it here. When I got accepted, it was either between here or Purdue University. If you visit both campuses it will be an easy decision that VT is so much nicer. The coursework is challenging and also interesting. The rankings are very good (esp engineering, but business is also phenomenal here). They have many different clubs and extracurricular activites if you wish to participate (which you should…trust me). Partying here is crazy, yet people here know how to balance between work and play. FOOTBALL is awesome. Marcus Vick better prove himself next year! There is always something going on and always something to do. The people here are really nice. The town is usually hopping, but don't expect it to be a Chicago or Los Angeles or something. There are a ton of bars here and also quite a few clubs. Trust me, go here, it won't disappoint. The school reputation is very very good and is growing daily, my dad has told me many of the top executives he has met have come out of VT and even went to grad school there and rave about the University. The school is really getting very hard to get into though. I read an rejection letter from a kid who applied this year that said this year the average acceptance gpa's were 3.81 and i think 1260 SATS if i remember correctly. The women here are smoking and the girl/guy ratio is becoming closer to 50/50 every year. I did a TON of college research before coming here and this university stood out by far as the best choice. VT = amazing academics + amazing party scene. You truly can't get the balance that you get at VT anywhere else in my opinion. You will get the FULL college experience here, thats one of the main reasons why i chose it. I could easily write more things about the greatness of VT, but i will end this with a nice GO HOKIES!
