Date: Feb 25 2005 Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time) Many public universities in Ohio say they focus on undergraduate education, but ultimately commit most resources toward research. I believe Miami University is one of the few exceptions. Yes, Miami does accurately reflect many of the stereotypes - white, upper-middle-class, materialistic, attractive, and competitive students. If you lack self-confidence or motivation, this is definitely not the school for you. It is important to note that only 25% of the campus is Greek. While I was in a fraternity and enjoyed the experience, many of my friends were not Greek and still enjoyed very active social lives. All told, I honestly believe you cannot receive a more rigorous undergraduate education anywhere in the state of Ohio, regardless of field of study. Miami is the most expensive public university in Ohio, but worth it.
