Binghamton over all is a really good school. It had great opportunities, great extra-cirricular activities, great classes, and loads of other great resources for students. The only real problems it has are basically location (the city and the surrounding areas are considered the most depressed and cheapest areas of the entire country to live in) and the fact that they expect you to basically take care of everything yourself. Want to do a study abroad, apply to grad school, transfer, find an internship, or switch schools within the university? Expect to do all the work yourself. It sucks, but that's what the real world is like. Once you find some friends and get into a club, you'll love this place.
