UNCW is a beautiful campus with nice landscaping. The food is better than what I expected upon coming here, there's variety in the dining hall and okay variety in the food court. The students at this school look like they've stepped out of an Abercrombie catalog and ofeten act snobby to those who aren't like them. The classes vary. I've had hard classes and also had easy classes. It all depends on who you get for a professor. The parking situation is awful and the parking cops are way too anal and seem not to understand that there isn't enough parking for those who live on campus and for those who commute to campus. Faculty overall seems to be very knowledgeable in their area. The advisors are not very helpful, you might as well do everything on your own when it comes to picking classes and so forth. Campus activities are good, there's always something going on. This is a party school as well, so if you expect quietness at night on a weekend you might as well forget it. The school's proximity to downtown and other shopping is great as well as being close to the beach. Wilmington traffic is bad and a lot of the stoplights seem not to have turning arrows so you'll be at one stoplight for a few light cycles, especially on the weekend. Overall I really enjoy UNCW and would recommend it to incoming/new students.
