| For most Northwestern students, it is their best choice, after being rejected by most Ivies, Stanford, MIT, etc. |
Major: Economics (This Major's Salary over time)
I am glad to be at Northwestern, but sometimes I wish I was in an environment where I could interact with more students interested in their major. Northwestern produces many successful people who are smart and able to get good jobs. However, I think we just don't have as good a reputation as some of the Ivies. I wish we could work on our reputation, and focus more on acadmia. So far many of my friends are good/above average students, but they don't seem to be motivated in the more intellectual aspects of education. Most of them are more interested in finding a job. I guess I would have gone to a school with a more academic focus. Still I am pretty happy being at Northwestern, and I count my blessings. But if I had a chance to get a more acadmically rigorous education I would.
