Date: Dec 11 2003 Major: Economics (This Major's Salary over time) BC rocks. Great academics, big-time sports, medium size, gothic architecture, nice neighborhood, great city, great bars, great parties, traditions, hotties, I mean seriously, it has everything you could ask for in a university and that is almost impossible to find in the Northeast/New England. Sure some schools have a better rep academically, though for the most part (excluding a few ivies, MIT, Amherst, Williams and Swarthmore) its negligible in terms of job/graduate school prospects, but you can't see Miami play at their 3000 seat football stadium. I had zero trouble getting into a top 5 law school and there were plenty of BC alums working at the top tier firms in New York City. Great experience all around.
