I am currently enrolled in the extension program for working adults out of the Sacramento extension center for SMC. Except for the commute from Stockton, there were not many colleges which could accomodate an adult father of four, with a full time job to finish his degree. SMC's School of Extended Ed made this not only possible but actually pleasant and stimulating. Except for one class which the Prof seemed to be skating the faculty was very enthusiastic and interested in involving the students. The class size of 12 got along well and staying together as a cohort was socially a plus. Although we rarely made the trek to Moraga, the main campus is absolutely gorgeous. However the Sacramento classes are held in a office building but what can you expect? If you are an adult professional who never finished your degree, look at this program, especailly if you want to attend classes once a week but need face to face interaction.
