Major: Computer Science (This Major's Salary over time)
The place offers many opportunities as far as state-funded colleges go. Many of the research activities depend a lot on external funds, such as NASA grants, which are abundant at the moment (Spring 2003). There are also courses specific to research, which offer great mentored research opportunities.. On the other hand, communication between professors is a bit rough from time to time - many are quick to point a finger at others without even discussing the subject with them. This doesn't affect students directly, but I feel that in a sense it hinders the speed at which the University progresses.
