Extracurriculars are huge and Community Service is very very important. SAT's and good grades are always a plus too though lol
SAT: 1490 Female
Keep the GPA upSep 09 2006Business - Management and Administration
Keep the GPA up.This school is getting a very good reputation and it is a lot harder to get into these days. In fact, 2006 class had 13,000 application for 1600 spots. It looks like they take 400 students for each of the 4 colleges.
Get involved in high school. This university likes a student who has participated in lots of extra activities.
In fact, Villanova is the only university, that we applied to, that asks for a separate activity page. This is the way the school get students who like to be active in a postive way .
Villanova also asks for a second essay dealing with the Augustian philosphy of caring and giving. This is the way they are and it really shows.
Now that the School of Business has been ranked so high on the list , make a game plan of what you want, market yourself well and good luck. If you get in ,you will be very happy. What's not to like with this school

I had good grades (3.0/A average), good SATS (1300), and wrote my essay saying I wanted to be a religion major (a major that they need more students to be in b/c the classes were small).
SAT: 1300 Female
I had an interview with an admissions officer -Jul 05 2005Unknown
I had an interview with an admissions officer - not a sure fire way to get accepted, but it definately makes an impression. As long as that impression is a polite, intelligent representation of yourself, no worries. I was also very involved in community service and school groups.
