i just went here because it was cheap and they said it was for art students
I did well in high school, scored well onJan 09 2009Journalism
I did well in high school, scored well on my SAT, and painted a lot of beautiful pictures (I wanted to be an art major).

However, if you're coming in to be a part of the arts, then your school GPA and SAT score don't even matter. If you're good enough at your art, VCU will let you in. Otherwise, you should study and be a decent student. One of my friends who got mostly Bs and Cs in high school didn't get in last year, so don't think you can just coast on in. This year's freshman class had the highest GPA of any class before us because it's getting harder to get into state schools.

VCU, as a college, will let you in asOct 13 2008Other
VCU, as a college, will let you in as long as you can fill out the application and you have a pulse. However if you're applying to a school of the arts, like the music or cinema program, it is VERY competitive and you should have a back-up major in mind if you don't get accepted.
SAT: 1880 Female
If you want to go here you don't have to do muchSep 10 2008Sociology
If you want to go here you don't have to do much. I got into VCU with really crappy SAT scores but I am doing well here. It seems to me that teachers reward students for just being involved in school, in general. If act like you care, you'll get good grades. Just show up, act like you're doing well, get your degree, and the the F out!!!!!!!!
It was easy getting inSep 07 2008Computer Engineering
it was easy getting in. I had a decent gpa of 3.53 and a average sat score of 2070. i played 1 sport in my senior year.
I didnt really even try when applying because i knew I was going to get in and it was my safety school.
SAT: 1420 Male
