Write a good admissions essayApr 24 2006English
write a good admissions essay...but who cares becuase this school sucks anyways and you shouldn't want to go here...
ACT: 29 SAT: 1450 Female
I had a high GPA and average SATS (1200)Jan 25 2006Psychology
I had a high GPA and average SATS (1200) with LOTS of extracurricular activities. I attended a "feeder" high school where 40-60 of the students in my class ended up choosing the UW. I wouldn't sweat the admissions process if you have 3.8+ GPA/1200+ SAT score.
SAT: 1200 Female
Its always good to have a 3Dec 16 2005PreLaw and Legal
Its always good to have a 3.7 and a 1200+ SAT. But I think I am the oddball. I transferd with an A.A. from South Seattle Community College. When I applied I had a 2.71 and I did not submit my SAT or ACT (which I should have done!). However I am a very talented writer, and i wrote a powerful personal statement. So pretty much, I closed my eyes and threw a hail mary applying here and I got a touchdown. UW is not all about numbers, it is also about your personal statement, extracurricular activities, and experience.
ACT: 31 SAT: 1441 Male
Well, I applied for the honors college, but didn'tAug 05 2005Chemical Engineering
Well, I applied for the honors college, but didn't get in becuase I really did a poor job reading the prompt and wrote the essay in under 15 minutes. I was arrogant, and I'll admit it. I did, however, get a scholarship, which was automatic with admission. For high schoolers, I will just emphasize that the the "optional" essays really aren't optional. If your index is below automatic, you need to write them all to get accepted and if you have a high admissions index, you need to write them all to get a scholarship. Don't slack off.
SAT: 1550 Female
Easy to get in if you have a 3Jul 30 2005Undecided
Easy to get in if you have a 3.8+ GPA, 1250+ SAT's
Apply and have fun with you application, as with any college, they like originality!
