I wrote an essay for my application, but I later learned that they don't read them.

I think they just pull applications out of a hat and accept people at random. The place has no academic or intelligent atmosphere, so I'm sure it doesn't take much to get in.

It's a joke to get accepted here. If you get rejected then your a moron, I'm sorry. I know multiple people who called admissions after getting rejected and just told them that they really wanted to go there, and they let them in no questions asked. Says a lot about a school, huh. Just don't waste your time-- UT blows.
