I worked a little too hard in high schoolAug 30 2011Other
I worked a little too hard in high school. I had a crazy high GPA. Silly amounts of extracurriculars. My ACT wasn't as high (I have a disability, didn't get extended time, and didn't finish most of the test). I imagine doing well in 2/3 of these categories is enough to get in. Maybe that and good essays. I also have no idea what I am talking about.
ACT: 28 Female
I applied and was acceptedAug 09 2011Engineering Department
I applied and was accepted.
Push your limits and strive for your personal best, but do not trample people along the way. Have good self-esteem without becoming self-involved. Strive for building positive allies and work together for mutual success. If you choose to go to this school, you will need them.
I made sure I was involved in high schoolMay 05 2011Accounting
I made sure I was involved in high school. I definitely made sure I was a member of the NHS and played a leadership role in one of my clubs (I was section leader and first chair of the alto saxophone section of my school's marching band). I also went to Michigan Math and Science Scholars at U-M over the summer before my junior year in high school. It's bonus points at U-M if you participate in any of their summer programs (including their athletic and music ones). There will be a section in the application where you get to check off the summer camps you participated in U-M.
ACT: 28 Male
I was accepted in 2006 and I graduated DecemberMay 04 2011Art & Design Department
I was accepted in 2006 and I graduated December 2010. All you need is good test scores above average grades (between 3.2-4.0) and Really good essay responses. Have an english teacher or a professor, if you know one, reread them for you. Recommendation letters from credible people also help. Like counselors, social workers, business men and women, etc.
ACT: 28 Female
TO get in, I would suggest for out ofApr 23 2011Undecided
TO get in, I would suggest for out of staters having at least a 27 act and a 3.9 and up gpa. And it costs a fortunre just to go here, I feel so bad my parents are throwing away all this money for a sub-par experience.
