I will not support you into going to thisOct 19 2010Biology
I will not support you into going to this school, so I have no advice in getting in. You have a high chance of hating it like most of us do.
I filled out an application onlineOct 11 2010Chemistry
I filled out an application online. I check the box that said "sucker" I got a letter the next month saying I was in, along with a packet telling me how cool UH supposedly is.

I recommend you don't go here unless you HAVE to. There are many other options for school. If you do go here DO NOT take your labs in conjunction with your classes if you can. Trust me, it will save you A LOT of trouble in the long run. You can always knock out a lab over summer semester and still work/party/whatever.

Honestly, its fairly easy to get in here. Seems like they take any bum off the street in. If you or the gov can pay, then you are welcome.

I transfered with a 3Oct 01 2010Architecture
I transfered with a 3.8/4.0 GPA and an artistic portfolio. I recommend you to make an appealing free hand portfolio and to get decent scores in your SAT/ACT. UH is not very selective but the College of Architecture is; I believe they require a minimum of 3.2/4.0 GPA for transfers and high SAT/ACT scores for High-Schoolers. If you want Ivy League style education, apply for the Honors College.
U of H is easy to get intoSep 18 2010Economics
U of H is easy to get into. If you want a job, do something with math or science. Too many people are getting history or English degrees to find work after school. So many Houstonians have ties to U of H that if you graduate with decent grades in a competitive field you can absolutely find work. Being yet another Art Major ain't gonna do it. Sorry.
Lol UH has almost gone to 100 percent openSep 09 2010English
Lol UH has almost gone to 100 percent open admission like UTEP. Have money and a pulse and your in the honors college....
