nothing, it feels like they accept everyone, the satellite campuses are crap so almost everyone from EVERY county within a 60 mile radius applies for the main campus since its the only public college in central florida. (USF is next closest and its 98 miles away going one way one way)

Getting into UCF was a nervewracking process, but in the end it was worth it. As long as you complete your application fully and actually put some time into it, you should be ok. The myUCF website has a bad interface but it tells you exactly what they have recieved and what they need. It also has your residency classification. From the myUCF site you can also find out if you got accepted. Three of my friends have been defered, but they applied in the fall. I highly advise applying for the summer session if you don't have the best grades/test scores. Overall, I think the application process went well. Best of luck to anyone wishing to apply. Go Knights!

I applied very last minute to UCF, but because I had good grades in HS and high tests scores I was admitted in a little over a week. One problem with applying late was that they had already given away scholarships so I was sorry to have missed out on that. If you plan on living on-campus it's best to apply as early as possible. The "Academic Villages" are usually the first to fill up and can have wait lists of 700 hundred people. That is why, if you're willing to spend a little more, The Towers might be a good idea since most people that want them anyway, it'll probably change once people realize how nice it is to have your own room with a full size bed!

Take AP classes in high school. Make sure you don't slack when it comes around to SAT/ACT time in high school. I've had friends not get into UCF because of test scores you could easily get into other schools with.
